Highlandville and Bear Creek which is considered to be the
best trout fishing stream in Iowa. Bear Creek does not freeze
in winter and is stocked weekly April through October. In
season, drive to any wooded state land and hunt for deer, turkeys, or
pheasants. Or you may only want to take in the beauty of
the streams, walk in acres of wooded state land, and breathe the fresh
air. Whatever brings you, when in
the area, stay in Highlandville at The Old Highlandvile Store, only
feet away from trout
streams and some of the prettiest nature scenery in the midwest.
TWO PEOPLE -- $25.00 a night per adult
SINGLE PERSON -- $40.00 for one night or
$25.00 a night for more that one night.
